TalkTogether
SnakSammen is a service for lonely adults who need someone to talk to. You will be assigned a volunteer conversation buddy with whom you can talk about anything that is currently happening. The service takes place online and over video.
TalkTogether is a conversation between two people. A volunteer conversation buddy from the Red Cross and you. You can talk about common interests, current events, news, family, everyday life, experiences or something completely different. The volunteer conversation buddies are completely ordinary people – neither advisors nor experts.
You are each sitting in your own home, but you can see each other on video while you talk to each other. Without having to install any complicated programs. However, you do need a newer mobile phone, tablet or computer with a camera to use SnakSammen.

SnakSammen is for all adults (>18 years) who miss someone to talk to in everyday life. There are no requirements or waiting list.
You book the first conversation yourself, which often lasts 15 minutes. Then you agree whether you want to talk again. It all takes place in a video room on the SnakSammen page at Boblberg. You must therefore create a profile on Boblberg to get started. You do not give out your phone number or email to the person you are talking to.
The volunteers are all very different, but what they all have in common is that they have a great desire to talk to other people. They are not professional counselors, but are committed to creating a safe and confidential space for good conversations.
Red Cross volunteers are bound by confidentiality, and what you discuss in the conversations therefore remains between you and the volunteer. You decide for yourself what you want to share about yourself.

Would you like to volunteer at SnakSammen? As a volunteer conversation partner, you talk to people who need a chat. We use video because we believe that it is important for a meaningful conversation to be able to see each other.

TalkTogether is just a conversation between two people. One may be a little lonely, worried or isolated, and the other is you. You can talk about everything between heaven and earth. Be inquisitive and curious. Feel free to share a bit of yourself. TalkTogether is not a consultation, even though the person you are talking to may be looking for good advice from you.
As a volunteer, you must strive to give the user a good experience. This requires that you are able to listen to others, be understanding and have a conversation. You will find that it varies from user to user what you need to pay most attention to. Some are very talkative, and others need you to help them along the way.
The virtual interview takes place through a pre-arranged meeting, the time and length of which you have chosen yourself. The meeting is set up by you as a volunteer through the online platform Boblberg.dk.
You can choose to set aside anything from 15 minutes to 1 hour. You are required to set aside a minimum of 3 meetings on the service per week. This could be, for example, 3 meetings lasting 15 minutes.
