Movement friends
Movement Friends is an offer for those of you who live with mental vulnerability and want to get more movement into your everyday life.
Exercise buddies are for those of you who want to be more active, but have difficulty exercising or moving alone. Maybe you miss someone to accompany you on a walk, need extra security when you are going to participate in a team, or maybe you just want to share the joy of movement with someone.
JOIN US
Would you like to have a volunteer exercise buddy?
You don't need to be in good shape or know anything about movement to join.

- If you have dementia, active substance abuse, outgoing behavior or a developmental disability, we refer you to associations and/or services that aim to work with these areas.
- You must live in one of the following municipalities to become part of Bevejgelsevenner: Copenhagen, Frederiksberg, Dragør or Tower city.
- It is important that you are at a place in your life where you have the energy to meet and get to know a new person, so that together you can create a good relationship.
You can expect to meet a movement friend who is enthusiastic and eager to get to know you. The volunteers are people of all ages with different backgrounds. It is always the same volunteer that you meet with. You therefore have ample opportunity to get to know each other well and build a secure relationship.
Together with your exercise buddy, you find out what you would like to do together. You can, for example, go for a walk, play badminton, go swimming or do strength training. The most important thing is that the meeting between you is based on humanity.
Click on "GET A MOVEMENT BUDDY" below and fill out the form, and we will contact you to discuss further with you about getting a movement buddy.
BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Would you like to become a volunteer exerciser and exercise with another person?
Read more and sign up as a volunteer below.
We match you with someone we think you'll enjoy being with.
After you have been matched, you take care of the contact yourself. Together you decide what you want to do. You can, for example, go for a walk, play badminton, go swimming, or do strength training. The most important thing is that the meeting between you is based on humanity.
As a movement buddy, you must be good at listening and meeting another person where they are. You must want to get to know another person and to enter into a present and trusting relationship. We also expect you to comply with the agreements you and your movement buddy make.
It is expected that you can spend between 1-2 hours every other week being a movement friend.
Click on "BECOME A VOLUNTEER" below and fill out the form, and we will contact you to discuss further starting as a volunteer movement friend.
