Christmas in the Red Cross Capital
The Red Cross Capital invites you to the annual Christmas party in Parken, holds Christmas at a nursing home in Copenhagen and distributes Christmas aid to families with children in the capital area who need a little extra support during Christmas. You can become a volunteer over Christmas by registering below.
The Red Cross Capital has a number of events during December, which include a Christmas party for the lonely and vulnerable, a Christmas gift card distribution to financially needy families with children, and a collaboration with the city's nursing homes where we spread Christmas spirit, care and presence throughout December and Christmas Eve.

Christmas is a celebration of the heart and for many people in Denmark, a time they look forward to. However, we also know that for some people it can be difficult.
At Red Cross Hovedstaden, we believe that no one should be alone during the Christmas season. That's why we have a number of events that you can participate in during December. These include a Christmas party for the lonely and vulnerable, as well as the distribution of gift cards to financially needy families.

Christmas help
We know that there can be many worries associated with Christmas – especially when most of all you just want to give your children a happy Christmas filled with warmth, coziness, good food and gifts.
Unfortunately, the deadline for applying for Christmas aid has expired.
Christmas party
Every year, the Danish Red Cross holds a Christmas party in the Capital, with the aim of bringing people together who would otherwise be alone.
Unfortunately, the Christmas party is closed for registrations.
Christmas friends
Find some Christmas hosts and a cozy home to spend Christmas in. There can be many good reasons to become a Christmas guest. Maybe you live alone, and have no or limited contact with friends and family, but don't want to be alone on Christmas Eve? Or maybe you are a student or expatriate and are therefore far away from family, which is why you might want to spend Christmas Eve with someone.
There may be many reasons for signing up as a Christmas guest, but common to all guests and hosts is a wish for a merry Christmas in the spirit of community. Click here to become a Christmas guest.
BECOME A VOLUNTEER
As a volunteer at one of our Christmas activities, you can contribute in many ways. The most important thing is that through humanity you can create good experiences, presence and Christmas spirit.
For all our activities, you will be contacted by the responsible employee, and you will be thoroughly informed and prepared for the task prior to the work itself.

Christmas friends
Open your home on Christmas Eve and make a heartwarming difference to others. There are many good reasons to sign up as a Christmas host. Maybe you want to make a difference for someone who is involuntarily alone? Or maybe you just want to meet new people and expand your social circle?
A common denominator for Christmas hosts is that they all have a desire to open their homes and share their Christmas Eve with other people. Do you have extra space at the Christmas table this year? Expand the community for the benefit of those who are outside.
