In 2025, the National Collection Day is Sunday, October 5.

The Red Cross collection takes place every year on the first Sunday in October, where collectors throughout the country collect for the benefit of people in need of help both at home and abroad. We are collecting so that we can help here and now, and so that we can ensure urgent and life-saving help when the next disaster strikes.

WHAT DOES THE MONEY GO FOR?

The Red Cross is always there. We are the world's largest humanitarian organization, and for more than 150 years we have helped people through wars, disasters and vulnerable life situations. Every year we provide disaster relief to 85 million people worldwide. We also spend money to support the great social work that, among others, volunteers in the Red Cross Capital carry out here in Denmark.

Here you can read more about how the money collected is used.
