At Red Cross Hovedstaden, we have many activities for people who feel lonely, vulnerable or want to be part of a community. That's why it can be nice to get help finding the right activity - and this is where you come into the picture!

Back in the fall of last year, we launched The activity team, which will strengthen our work in guiding and referring participants, relatives and professionals about our many different activities in the Danish Red Cross Capital. The purpose of the team is to be a safe point of contact that ensures:
- That participants quickly and safely become part of our community.
- That participants receive advice on activities that best suit their needs.
- That we can provide guidance to other relevant organizations or professional help, if necessary.
- That professionals or relatives can obtain relevant information about the value of our various activities, so that they can recommend them to potential participants.
Your tasks as a volunteer in the Activities Team.
As a volunteer, you will be part of a team where you will:
- Maintain ongoing contact with potential participants, professionals and relatives by email and telephone.
- Be co-responsible for covering the team's regular opening hours (you must be able to take a fixed shift of two hours every other week).
- Coordinate with employees and other volunteers at the Danish Red Cross.
- Collaboration with the team and the responsible consultant on continuous evaluation and improvement of the effort.
- Support/assist new volunteers in connection with starting up in the Activities Team.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who:
- Likes and is comfortable talking on the phone and being in contact with many different people
- Have an interest in social work and a desire to make a difference.
- Have an easy and intuitive understanding of IT systems such as Teams, Word and Podio, as much of the work will be done through these.
- Have approximately 10-15 hours per month to commit, including regular opening hours.
