Activity leaders for new voluntary recycling project in Copenhagen 

The Edit – by Red Cross Capital will be our new clothing sorting location in Copenhagen. Here you will get a quality shopping experience where recycling, community and social efforts are the main elements. 

We are looking for 1-2 volunteer activity leaders, who will be leading this new project. You will be part of the construction and have the opportunity to influence decisions from the start. 

About the job
As a volunteer activity leader, we expect you to be able to use approx. 10-15 hours per week on building and running the clothing sorting location. The purpose is to sort and prepare the best styles and quality clothing for our stores in the Capital. Your efforts will help increase turnover in the stores and thus create more value for the Red Cross' work locally, nationally and internationally. 

Your tasks: 

• Management and coordination of daily sorting work 

• Optimization of workflows with a focus on practicality, efficiency and quality 

• Recruitment and management of volunteers and employees in the day team 

• Collaboration across recycling, logistics and store teams 

• Create a positive and motivating work community
