Can you spot a hidden designer treasure from three meters away? Then we need you
Click and apply nowAre you the type who always finds the best in a pile of clothes?
Do you know the difference between fast fashion and real quality?
And do you love the feeling of making a good find?
So read on.
The Edit by Red Cross Capital is our new clothing sorting project. Here we go through donated clothing and accessories, handpick the best items and prepare them for sale in our stores in Copenhagen.
We're busy. The demand is high. And we need more sharp eyes and quick hands.
You can join an existing team – or start a new one. If you can gather a minimum of three people (maybe a couple of friends?), we can open a regular weekly sorting day for you.
It's not just about clothes.
It is about:
- to fill the stores with goods that people actually want to buy
- to ensure quality over quantity
- to raise funds for social initiatives throughout the capital
Every jacket, every bag and every find makes a real difference.
We expect you to:
- Show up – and take responsibility
- Can take a minimum of 2 regular shifts per month and preferably more (approx. 3-6 hours)
- Thrives in a team where you lift as a group
You are a good fit if you:
- Are physically fit (you stand and sort)
- Has an eye for quality, brands and trends
- Can work efficiently – without compromising the good atmosphere
- Think recycling is both sustainable and badass
In return you get:
- A strong community with other committed volunteers
- An active and meaningful everyday life
- Influence on quality in Red Cross stores
- Opportunity to use your interest in fashion and recycling for something that goes far beyond the wardrobe
The profits from the sale go directly to social initiatives in the Danish Red Cross Capital – from victim counseling to initiatives for the homeless and communities for the elderly.
In short: Your focus on quality can be of concrete help.
Are you ready?
