RED CROSS

As a volunteer leader, you will be part of a flexible, friendly and committed group of two who have three core tasks at the hostel:

• Recruitment and onboarding of new volunteers
• Care of volunteers (including planning and organizing social and professional events)
• Management of volunteers in collaboration with development consultant and principal

The hostel has many different volunteers and volunteer functions, all driven by the same goal: to create increased well-being and empowerment among the hostel's 27 residents. The volunteer group currently has 30 volunteers and we have a great desire to grow even more.

We are therefore facing an ongoing recruitment and onboarding task and we are looking for you who, together with our current volunteer leader, can and will:

• Contribute to targeted and structured recruitment
• Coordinate and hold interviews
• Finding the right match between volunteer and hostel
• Hold 3 and 6 month interviews with new volunteers

About you

• You are at least 25 years old.
• You can dedicate approximately 3-5 hours per week to work
• You have good collaboration skills, a sense of humor and are good at meeting people at eye level.
• It is a plus if you have volunteering experience, but it is not a requirement.

About the Red Cross Hostel for Women

The shelter is a temporary home for 27 homeless women who need peace and support to get back on their feet in life. Here, volunteers and staff collaborate on practical and care-oriented tasks, and on creating meaningful activities in and outside the shelter.
