Social associations in Frederiksberg Municipality have the opportunity to rent the Red Cross minibus. Below you can read more about the bus and the options for renting it.

About the bus

The bus is a minibus with space for a total of 8 people including the driver. The bus is handicap-friendly with a lift at the back. To drive the minibus, a regular driving license (category B) is sufficient. It is required not bus driving license to drive the minibus.

Who can borrow the bus?

The bus can be borrowed by social associations in Frederiksberg, which receive either §79 or §18 grants from the Municipality. The bus can also be booked by Frederiksberg Municipality on the same terms.

When can the bus be booked?

The bus can be booked on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

How do you book the bus?

The association sends a request to the following email address: rkh.seniortjenesten@rodekors.dk

The request must state:

1. The association's name and CVR number

2. Contact person/responsible person and contact information

3. Date of desired loan day.

When will you get an answer?

You will receive a response to your inquiry within 2-3 working days, so remember to send your inquiry in good time.

Here you will be asked to fill in additional information and accept the conditions for borrowing the bus.

Other practicalities, such as key collection, etc., will be sent with the booking confirmation.

Where is the bus?

The bus stops under Bispeengbuen at Nordre Fasanvej (by Lidl).

Loan conditions

  • The bus must only used for social purposes within the association. It may not be used for moving, transporting food or for private purposes.
  • Daily rental of the bus costs DKK 350 per day. The rental is paid by bank transfer.
  • The association must take photos of the bus before and after use.
  • The bus must be returned cleaned and with a full tank.
  • In the event of damage, the association is liable for a deductible of up to DKK 10.000.
  • Any damage must be reported to the Danish Red Cross.
  • Speeding tickets and parking fines are forwarded to the association in question, which pays them itself.
  • In the event of default, the Capital Red Cross reserves the right to send invoices to the association/institution in question.
