The lecture Backbone and Spaciousness
In today's Denmark, we are all thrown around in an ever-accelerating process of change, the horizon of which we can probably barely make out the outline yet. All we know is that it is going to be wild. We experience collapse again and again, and much of what we know and do today is guaranteed not to be what we do and need to know tomorrow.
For the lecture, Rane Willerslev will describe and explain in an entertaining and sharp way, based on two core concepts, what it takes for us humans to come through a time of dissolution intact, where old forms and thoughts must constantly be rethought and renewed. According to Rane, this must happen on a basis of solid and deep professionalism – that is our backbone. But also with a will to meet the world with greater spaciousness as a society and a courage to let our world collapse in the encounter.
Here you can hear previous participants talk about why they think it is a good idea to participate in the More Free Time fair.
“Prepare yourselves, it won’t just come like that.”
“I would recommend volunteering. It is so rewarding.”
“I think I have received a lot of good input.”
