About the Capital Samaritan Corps

The corps is a 110-year-old Samaritan group in the Red Cross. We have shifts in Copenhagen, Frederiksberg, Tårnby and Dragør municipalities, and work with the other departments in Denmark on e.g. the Roskilde Festival. Our members come from all social groups and with different backgrounds, but have one thing in common: an interest in first aid.

How much does it cost to book Samaritans for an event?

The Red Cross Samaritans operate according to recommended prices. The price depends on the size of the event and the number of people involved.

A large festival, for example, costs more than a mini-putt football tournament. Differences also mean that prices for transportation, material consumption and catering can vary.

What do you pay for?

The payment covers the costs of the Samaritan Guard; equipment, transport, medicine and other materials and for the Samaritans' training, including mandatory follow-up courses. The remaining amount from the Samaritan Guard goes to the social efforts of the Red Cross Capital. Read about the social initiatives of the Danish Red Cross Capital.

How do I book Red Cross Samaritans?

Fill out the order form below. The form will be sent directly to the duty coordinator.

The duty coordinator assesses the event (size, risks, facilities) and makes an offer. An agreement is then made and the Samaritans will be present at your event.

You will become part of a strong community, where you will provide first aid at concerts, sporting events and festivals.
