Red Cross Capital

Come to the annual meeting and general assembly of the Danish Red Cross, where you will be able to meet the board of directors and several employees of the Danish Red Cross. You will hear about the past year and the plans for our association's work in 2026.

The Danish Red Cross is hosting a light evening meal with cold and hot drinks during the meeting.

According to Red Cross statutes The agenda is as follows:

1. Choice of conductor

2. Report on the department's activities

3. Presentation of the audited financial statements for approval

4. The department's future activities

5. Proposals received

6. Choice of:

a. Members of the board of directors

b. Auditor(s) and deputy auditor(s)

7. Optionally.

Registration is not required to attend the general meeting. However, you must register to participate in and the communal meal.

ELECTIONS AND CANDIDATES

There will be elections for three ordinary member positions on the board. We have already received requests for re-election from two current board members and one candidate for new election.

Registration is not required to attend the general meeting. However, you must register to attend the communal dinner. Access is open to volunteers and members of the Danish Red Cross Capital. However, only members of the Danish Red Cross Capital are entitled to vote and stand for election to the general meeting.

Both volunteers and members of the Capital Red Cross are welcome. However, only members of the Capital Red Cross are entitled to vote and stand for election to the general assembly. Read more about this in the next section.

Anyone who has paid their membership fee is entitled to vote and stand as a candidate. For new members, the membership fee must be paid no later than 20 days before the general meeting. Each member has one vote. Household membership gives two votes if two members of the household attend. Voting by proxy is not possible.

There will be elections for three non-executive board seats. We have already received requests for re-election from two current board members and one candidate for new election.
