Communication
Communication is all about sharing the amazing stories of the hard work done by the volunteers at Red Cross Copenhagen.
By creating visibility around our activities, we help the most vulnerable people in the city and highlight the amazing work done by our volunteers.
As a volunteer in the communication team, you have the opportunity to work with a wide range of different genres and channels.
Currently, we have six groups, but we’re only looking for English-speaking volunteers in the following four groups:
- Web. Developing and maintaining our website.
- Photo. Capturing great images from our activities and portraits.
- Graphic. Creating larger printed materials, brochures, posters, and similar items.
- Video. Producing videos for our various platforms.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER
What do we expect from you?
As a volunteer in the communication team, you should be curious, creative, and enjoy collaborating. It isn’t necessary to have a background in communication, journalism, photography. video production or similar, but it is important that you have technical skills.
Where and when do you need to help?
The organization of the communication work varies. Those working in social media follow a fixed schedule, while others contribute with good ideas or are asked if they can help with different task when they come up.
