Senior Conversations
A set of conversations for people, who are transitioning from employment to retirement.
When we’re transitioning from employment to retirement, many questions naturally arise: “What should the rest of my life consist of?” and “What should give my life meaning?”
Senior conversations is a project involving Red Cross Copenhagen, University College Copenhagen (Københavns Professionshøjskole), and the Municipality of Copenhagen. It aims to explore how group discussions can provide support during this transition. This program is for residents of the Municipality of Copenhagen, and we recommend that you participate no later than two years after leaving the workforce.
The program lasts for 6 weeks during which you get to meet up with 6 – 8 other people who are also transitioning from employment to retirement. The meetings focus on life strategies, values, and the art of living. To prepare for each meeting, there will be small reflection tasks. Each meeting lasts 2,5 hours including a break where you’ll get to enjoy some refreshments. Participating in the meetings is free.
We currently do not accept English-speaking volunteers for this activity
