Friends guide you
Having a Danish network is crucial for newcomers from other countries. Through 'Friends guide you', you or your family can be connected with an individual, a couple, or a family who knows Denmark.
Are you or you family new to Denmark and have a difficult time getting to know the Danes. Or have you been here for a while without making any Danish friends?
Then a friendship family or family friend might be right for you.
Through ‘Friends guide you’, you or your family will be connected to an individual, a couple, or a family who is more familar with Denmark. These can be individuals born and raised in Denmark or people who have moved to the country and have been here for a while. This program is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into Danish culture and the Danish language. It’s also a shortcut to building new friendships and creating a network in Denmark.
The volunteer can also help you understand government documents, provide support for eduation and employment, and guide you to communities and associations, helping you become familiar with the local area.
You meet about twice a month – it can be for dinner at your home, a trip to a museum, or whatever you feel like doing. Friendships are established based on you preferences and needs. If this sounds like something for you, you can contact us for more information using the information on the right.
