When you become a part of our volunteer team you help us create positive changes and as well as helping those in need. Our volunteer team has been an important part of our work in the last 100 years.

Through volunteer work and humanity, we create active and meaningful communities for adult, seniors and families with limited social networks who are in need of support. We are always ready to take action when the need arises.

Under the tab What we do you can see the activities we offer in Copenhagen.

Questions and Answers

The most important thing is that you have the time, desire and energy to volunteer.

Depending on which activity you are interested in, some skills and qualities might be an advantage. For instance, if you would like to become a Visiting Friend, it would be an advantage if you are loyal and trustworthy.

What you do as a volunteer depends on where and for whom you volunteer. There are usually broad options for the kind of work you can do.

As a volunteer, you contribute to creating a sense of security, tranquility, determination, hope, and community, all based on the individual’s needs, resources, and interests.

Some activities are built on one-on-one relationships,  while others focus on building meaningful, active communities.
