Christmas at nursing homes
Red Cross Copenhagen aims to reach out to those who need it most during Christmas and contribute to making life in nursing homes and senior residences meaningful and community-oriented
Our nursing home volunteers engage in a range of Christmas activities throughout December, contributing to the festive spirit.
These activities include participation in Advent gatherings, crafting Christmas decorations, serving ‘æbleskiver,’ and much more. Each nursing home volunteer is paired with either a nursing home or a senior housing residence hosting a Christmas event.
