Røde Kors Hovedstaden

In Red Cross Copenhagen’s Charity Shops you’ll find clothes, furniture and objects you won’t find elsewhere. Every visit will be unique, since no shop will be the same tomorrow as it is today. Grab what you want while it’s there or it might be gone tomorrow.

Surplus earnings from the stores will be used for our social activities. This means, that sometimes we will have to decline things we deem to be unsellable.

Even though we appreciate all donations, there are some things we won’t be able to sell which, therefore, are of no value to our Charity Shops. We’ve made list of things we like receiving and things we don’t, which can be found here.

Would you like to volunteer in one of our shops?

Would you like to dedicate a few hours a week as a volunteer in a Red Cross charity shop?

As a volunteer in a shop, you contribute to making a positive impact on our environment and climate, while also supporting the work of the Red Cross in your local community and around the world.

Volunteers are responsible for running the stores and are, therefore, a very important part of Red Cross Copenhagen. We always welcome enthusiastic volunteers to join our store teams, and we definitely have a task for you.

The tasks in a charity shop are quite diverse and may include sorting, pricing, and maintaining order in the shop. In larger charity shops, there is also the opportunity to be assigned a specific area of responsibility in the shop, such as the book section or the clothing section.

Opening hours and working hours vary from shop to shop.
