Job and education mentor
Get extra support to get started or to stay in employment or education from a volunteer mentor.
If you need a bit of extra support to get started in a job or to stay employed, you can get a volunteer mentor to guide you in the right direction.
The mentor is a volunteer who offers support through conversations, thus, providing one-on-one help to a parent. These conversations are meant to give advice, guidance, and motivation to help you gain an understanding of your own skills and career and education aspirations.
The mentor and mentee meet approximately every other week and arrange the time and place for these meetings.
A mentorship program usually lasts for 3 months, depending on your specific needs.
