Through handwritten letters, you can get to know each other just like old-fashioned pen pals.
Pen pals are interesting and meaningful relationships where you have the opportunity to talk about your own life and learn about someone else’s life.

What you write about is entirely up to you. You might share common interests and want to exchange bits of your daily life with each other. It’s always the same volunteer you correspond with, so you’ll have plenty of chances to get to know each other well.
It’s also perfectly fine if you don’t want to write letters yourself but simply enjoy receiving a letter from time to time.
The volunteer pen pals come from various age groups and backgrounds. What they have in common is the willingness and enthusiasm to write and get to know you.
We currently do not accept English-speaking volunteers for this activity
